Job Description:
As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for running an efficient and profitable sales department. The Sales Manager is a leader within the sales team, they lead with their team, not for them. You will collaborate alongside another Sales Manager to lead our already great sales team to even further success by increasing sales volumes, while maintaining positive relations with our corporate and retail customers.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast goals and objectives with a clear breakdown on how to achieve said goals
- Complete New order allocation with MANUFACTURER
- Handle all customer grievances within 24 hours of initial complaint
- Work closely with the General Manager to develop Monthly sales events
- EXCEED volume targets set by Nissan Canada and Management.
- Work with Product Advisors to ensure all leads are followed up with on a consistent basis
- Be involved in the sales process with the Product Advisors through the appraisal, desking, presenting numbers, and closing deals
- Work with Marketing Manager to develop a consistent presence on all social media accounts
- Maintain up to date product knowledge training through walkarounds, videos, competitive comparisons etc.
- Maintain positive relationships with individual team members and wholesale contacts
- Create a team culture across all departments of the dealership
- Recruit, hire, train and track the performance of all Product Advisors
- Conduct meetings within the Sales Department to provide a consistent level of sales training
Requirements:
- Two or more years of previous experience in Automotive Sales Management or Financial Services
- Managers are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Must be available to work on Saturdays
- Ability to work well with others
- Good computer skills
- Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors
- Ability to multitask
- Comfortable dealing with customer concerns, objections, and complaints
- Strong networking and prospecting skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to create, follow, and kaizen processes
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Valid Driver's License
Reports to: General Manager
Compensation: Compensation plan is based off performance. We pay above industry average for above industry performance.
